Nursing Home, Abrego Colombia Sep 27, 2008 This is not an oficial project supported by the club yet. However, I just want to share with the club my new venture in beautiful Colombia. This project will be presented to the International Committee very soon. The objective of the project is very basic: To provide the minimum standards of living to the elderly living at this nursing home.  View 
Paul Harris Fellowship Dinner Sep 24, 2008 Paul Harris Fellow recognition was created in memory of Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary, as a way to show appreciation for contributions to the Foundation's charitable and educational program. A Rotarian who contributes – or in whose name is contributed – a gift of US$1,000 or more to Rotary International's Annual Programs Fund may become a Paul Harris Fellow.  View

Change Over Ceremony Jun 21, 2008 Wellington Rotary Club gathered at the Mayacoo Country Club to welcome Don Gross as our President for the 2008-2009 Rotary Year. It was another beautiful evening in paradise!  View 
Bakery May 29, 2008 WORKING HANDS BAKERY CUCUTA, COLOMBIA Purchase equipment for Bakery: ovens, cylinder, trays, cutters, cooking trays, counters, mixers, and , other tools for the bakery operation. In addition, due to the remote project location access is limited. A motorcycle is needed for market mobility in order to deliver goods lo local stores and make the project sustainable over time. This project will directly improve the quality of life of 80 displaced single mothers and 300 families conformed by 1500 pleople.  View

Multimedia Classroom May 28, 2008 AMCAF MULTIMEDIA CLASSROMM CUCUTA, COLOMBIA The project aims to provide the necessary equipment for a computer/multimedia classroom for the children´s shelter AMCAF (Catholic Missionary Associaciation Ana Francisca) localted in la sabana, county of San faustino, Municipality of Cucuta, that lodges an average of 60 children in ages between 7 and 15 years, economically underpriviliged, in risk of abuse or mistreatment. These children receive education and direction from the tributary nuns of Valencia.  View 
Orphanage May 26, 2008 FUNDACION AMPARO DE NIÑAS SANTAMARIA DE LOS POBRES OCAÑA, NORTE DE SANTANDER, COLOMBIA Purchase of 42 beds, night tables, matresses, and bed linens that will improve the quality of life of 42 orphan children. Currently, these children are sharing very old beds in pitiable conditions. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of these children by providing a calm and pleasant sleep environment at night.  View 
SCANN PROJECT - NAKURU, KENYA May 25, 2008 The Security Fence and Bio Gas Stove Project will benefit the Street Children Assistance Network of Nakuru (SCANN). SCANN is a local charitable foundation in Nakuru, Kenya that was created to provide education, food, shelter, medical care and 24 hour support for abandoned and orphaned children (ages 3 to 18) who live on the streets of Nakuru.  View
