Update on Wellington Rotary Benevolent Giving Within Community 2008-2009

Our charitable giving has gotten off to a wonderful start. The board approved increases to some of our key areas of giving such as Back to Basics (underwear lady). We have also added some new wonderful beneficiaries such as the Carded Center and the Oasis foundation as well as the Post Polio support group. Many of these are based on our committee of ones’. What a fabulous way to help the organizations we find in need locally.

We have had some great presentations from many of these organizations and hope to learn more about others in the future! Great job to all who have helped put it all together.
