WellingtonHigh Interact Club Supports ALS Walk at Roger Dean Stadium
March 17, 2007 - Wellington, FL – A group of exceptional students from The Wellington High Interact Club rolled out of bed very early Saturday morning to board a van, generously provided by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office, to participate in the “Walk to D’Feet ALS” at Roger Dean Stadium.
A special thanks goes out to CPL. Rafael Duran, Jr. of the Palm Beach Sheriff’s office for taking time from his busy schedule to transport the students from Wellington to the event and back. Were it not for the support of numerous individuals from within the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office assisting us in finding transportation to get this many students to the venue, this event would not have been possible. Steve Deinema added “CPL Duran is a spectacular ambassador for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office and it was our good fortune to have his assistance.”
